Altnagelvin Phase 3.2A - Now Complete

This 17,000sqm new hospital extension is one of the largest and most complex contracts the company has completed to date. Housing Adult Acute, Maternity, Rehabilitation, Haematology and Oncology departments as well as tying several systems into the existing hospital infrastructure.

The building over 5 levels included significant plant rooms and theatres, meaning not only a highly complex installation but also a 12-week commissioning period. Dowds Electrical's scope of work includes: Extensions to the ring main units, UPS/IPS, Fire, Security, Nurse Call and Structured Cabling systems.
