Service

The scope of our installation service encompasses all aspects of electrical installation works from HV through to ELV and includes subsidiary specialist systems such as Fire alarm, CCTV, Access control, BEMS, and data cabling solutions. No project is successfully complete unless it is tested in accordance with BS 7671. To this end our senior management and operatives have been qualified to C&G 2391 ensuring that all our installations are fully certified upon completion to the latest industry technical regulations set out by the NICEIC and RECI.

People & Technology

At Dowds Electrical ongoing training ensures that our team of highly skilled operatives remain abreast of the very latest technology in the industry. Our continued commitment to apprentice schemes ensures that today's trainees become tomorrow's industry workforce

Communication is the key to efficient administration. We support IT facilities that boast computerised estimating, accounts, purchasing and stock control as well as CAD and project programming software. With these programs being networked through the companies’ intranet, our headquarters are linked to all site offices with Laptops/PDA’s it is clear how progressive Dowds Electrical is in today's industry.

Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Integrated Management Systems

The company fully recognises its responsibility in terms the protection of the environment and the delivery of high quality services to its clients. In order to manage the quality and environmental performance of our business, the company has implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS), to meet the requirements of ISO9001: 2000 and ISO14001: 2004. This system is audited annually by Moody International.

The commitment of our management team in practising and promoting health and safety is evident by the company being one of the first Electrical contractors in the province to obtain Safe-T-Cert accreditation. The companies health and safety system continues to be independently audited on an annual basis.
